These are the rules we use as a nation, not following them will result in consequences.
1. Voice Communication
All members must have or be willing to download Ventrilo for reasons of voice communication. It may take away from roleplaying but its the only effective way to call targets and keep together on the field.
2. Lore
All character names must be in character. Valak The Mad = Acceptable. Iwill pwn j00 = Bad.
Use common sense here.
3. PvP
Display sportsmanship in all combat situations. Be polite, send good fight tells, and DONT start arguments and get on peoples nuts. People are likely to towncamp or bane, when they feel stepped on their toes.
Do not bane crash. As mentioned before, we don't want unnecessary enemies.
Do not kill anyone more than 30 lvls below you. Dont start rediculously one sided fights. This is nooby and unsportsman-like conduct. If they attack you, steal from you, loot your kills, or anything of the sort, destroy them. They brought it upon themselves. This doesnt account for HoD, kill them on sight no matter what.
Do not attack anyone in any open trading city unless attacked first. These are here to trade, not to pk. Want some pvp or cash? Go to the hot zone.
Aside from this, anyone is fair game.
4. Class Channels
You should show good sportsmanship not only in combat but in the class channels as well. Just because you may use these to communicate openly without role playing DOESN'T mean you can use these to communicate oplenly without politesse.
5. Double Guilding
Double guilding is fine, just let us know. Double guilding with an enemy is NOT fine. Lieing about your guild affiliations is even LESS fine.
We do expect that you treat this guild as your main guild or at least equally important as your other guild. This is not a nation to just tag your alts in.
Should we realize you have betrayed this rule, you will be banished on the spot.
6. Item drops
If an item is dropped give it to someone in the group, guild, or nation who can use it. If nobody needs it, keep it, sell it, do whatever you please with it.
If two people need a dropped item roll for it. Someone, who allready got a item by a roll is denied to roll for others till all others, that took part in the roll he won have won a roll by theyr own. If people roll for items they both want, but not need, its the same.
If someone in the nation needs an item/rune you have, and you dont need it, you are expected to give it to them.
7. Groups
Do not log on, look for a group, find none, then log off. We want members prepared to be self sufficient if needed.
If you want powerleveling you may ask, but dont assume you can have it. Taking a quick break in a group is fine. Assuming that the group will power level you while you go live it up is not.
If you want to be in a group, but none are out, dont sit around and ask for one. Make it yourself and get things rolling.
8. Banes & Mines
Do not attend banes our nation is not involved in (except if it's against HoD).
If one of our cities gets attacked its everyones duty to defend it if they can be online (beeing low lvl is no excuse).
If we attack a city and you're online you're also supposed to help out.
The same goes for mines, if there are mines open and the inner council decides it's time to go for a mine, you are expected to join in on the fight unless you don't have ANY high level character yet, for it will be little extra help.
This goes for defending mines as well as attacking mines.
Xpac mines will be tagged by the nation capital only.
If you think banes & mines are a nuisance, this game is not for you.
9. Recruitment
If someone asks you if they can enlist, direct them right to the forums.
From there they can apply, get accepted, and be tagged.
We WILL NOT give tags to any character below R2. We want them to at least finish their stay in Uthgaard.
Full members' recruiting power is to be used for tagging your alts and nothing more. If someone has been accepted and wants tags, they have to wait for an Inner Council or Recruiter.
To become a full member, simply prove yourself worthy. Start and join groups, help out, etc. When we decide so, we will promote.
10. The Final Say
The word of the Inner Council is law. If you think someone is abusing this report them directly to the guild lead / nation lead via /tell or a PM.
Nation Lead > Guild Masters > IC > Full Member > Petitioner, as far as this goes.
