List all existing toons, including their name level race and class. This includes toons that do not fit within the unholy charter.
Dorvick the Wise - level 64 Human Priest, leveled up fully together with an SDR buddy that kept all the hotzone lewt <3
Name and Age?
Ingame name would be Dorvick, RL name Lenny, 22.
What timezone are you in, and when do you normally play?
GMT+1, I play whenever I have to be on
Why are you playing on lore and not ARAC?
I find the restrictions to be quite interesting, forcing you to think slightly out of the box and sort of eliminating the possibility of big zerg nations. I have a lot of toons on Thurin and Malog that I rarely play though.
What is your position on rolling spec toons?
Anything you want I'll roll. I'm fairly self-sufficient but as I basicly just started out here it'd be awesome if I could get to use my priest mostly with perhaps one backuptoon. I already geared out my priest halfway (got me a Godly Con and Int from servertrades so that's no problem)
Do you have or are you willing to download and use Ventrillo?
Always used Vent before so no issues there at all.
Have you read and agreed to our rules? If you do not agree with any point, state which point and why.
I don't follow rules, I MAKE THE RULES. But yea, agreed!
List all previous and current guild affiliations.
Mourning: Holland
Redemption & Thurin: No More
What is your experience with Shadowbane?
I started out roughly two years ago on Redemption where the CN infestation was incredible. Played there for quite a bit of time till it was absolutely no fun anymore and I decided to make a toon on Mourning where I found people who spoke Dutch (like I do!) in Holland. After the news the servers were going down was out, I played on Test for a bit but nothing serious. At the new server wipe we had a lot of fun on Thurin though mostly in smallscale PvP since our nation just wasn't big enough to compete with the big ones.
What is your experience with gaming in general?
My first MMO was Ragnarok Online which I played in Beta for a few months. Once it went live I decided I didn't want to pay to play so I looked for another free game and found Ultima Online freeservers. I played on those for a good 3-4 years and even if I say so myself I totally rocked at it However I got bored with UO because of the lack of competition towards the end and a friend introduced me to Shadowcrack uhhhh Shadowbane to which I've been hooked for almost 2 years now.
Are you open minded about criticism/advice or do you prefer to figure it out alone?
Very openminded towards classes I don't know much about. If it's stupid criticism I'll still listen and think it over myself but you have to know I'm a "math man" meaning I look for 100% efficiency in all my builds. If it's good advice I'll obviously try to implement it in my builds/playstyle as that's one of the only ways to actually get better at the game
Do you prefer to experiment with builds or stick to a select few toons that you enjoy?
I'm past the point that I wish to have 100 different toons and would like to concentrate on playing my priest to perfection, which currently isn't the case but should be doable as I've managed to do so with other classes.
How do you respond to shittalk?
I either laugh it away or make sure I remember the guy shittalking me so I can make sure I kill him again while he's fighting someone else. Just to piss him off further of course. Camping his city is also a very viable option.
What is your preferred role in a group?
Usually played debufftoons before (debufflock, debuffwizzy, debuffnecro) but now I'd like to concentrate on being a priest. If we already have 500 great priests I'll obviously play whatever you want me to, as I find all roles quite interesting.
In a brief paragraph, describe your playstyle.
I learn a lot through experience. For some toons it's great to play them very aggressive ("in your face toons" such as meat or melee rogues) others require careful debuffing and waiting till the opponent has been worn down a bit giving you a tactical advantage (warlock, doomy, bowscouts) and it really takes a while to perfect that for each toon. On my priest I'd obviously play fairly conservative not to draw too much attention to myself in order to be able to keep everyone healed and myself stun immune at all times. Playing a wizzy so much I've grown to learn how to do "mob control" meaning handling several targets at once using roots and stuns.
In as much detail as you care to include, why do you want to join and why would you be a valuable addition to the nation?
First off because Napstar plays here and I'm like the coolest guy he knows! But mostly cause I'm looking for a good Lore guild with European players in it, which seems to be very rare. After asking around I heard there's only a handful of decent ACTIVE nations on Saedron, this being one of them. My biggest contribution would be being available a lot IF I get warned in due time to log on and being a decent overall player. I've never caused any trouble or drama in any guild I've been in so I guess I'm pretty much perfect
